in ft lauderdale
So, we are location bound for a while in Fort Lauderdale. We are staying in a county park that is a veritable oasis in a concrete jungle. Its 2 miles, from Chris' work and I am looking forward to the change of scenery and a warm winter. Just wish fall would arrive already!

Dark Hallow Falls
Today we picnic'd on Skyline Drive and then headed south for a hike to Dark Hallow Falls.
Our first hike was in the wrong direction, but after a mile we found another hiker and he pointed us in the right direction. On the second hike, we found the falls. All totaled - we hiked about 4 miles today! We left as the rain began to fall. We saw a herd of deer - but no bear - except if you count the Yogi at our campground.
